What's new in ForeSight
Every change you can see, newest first. ForeSight is in beta: the version number says which release you are using, and it is shown at the bottom of the menu.
0.10.0-beta (2026-10-18)
Added
- Insulin logging. On the Log page, under Insulin, record the units, the type, the time, what it was for, the product name and a note. ForeSight never suggests a dose. Above 50 units in one entry it asks once whether the number is right, and never refuses it.
- Insulin totals. Your logged insulin added up by day and by type, and the average per day over 14, 30 and 90 days. The average is divided by the days on which you logged insulin, not by all the days in the period: a day with nothing logged is left out, not counted as zero. The averages use complete days only, so today is shown apart as "so far today". You see them on the Log page, on the Glucose page and on the Endo Prep print.
- Insulin on the glucose chart. Each entry is a triangle along the bottom: filled for meal and correction insulin, outlined for basal.
- What's new. This page, from the menu and the footer.
- Help and glossary. Plain-language definitions of every figure ForeSight shows, each with its source, and short how-tos. A small "?" next to each figure gives its definition in one line.
- Version number. The version of ForeSight you are using is shown at the bottom of the menu.
Changed
- AI summaries and insulin. Summaries are told nothing about the insulin you log. A summary may end with "Insulin was logged on N of M days", which ForeSight adds itself; the amounts are only in your insulin log.
- Privacy notice 1.8-beta. It now lists insulin doses and life events among the health data you add, and says what AI summaries are told about them. Nothing changed in how your data is handled, and no new consent is needed.
- Log page. Wider, so all eight tabs fit on one line on a computer.
Fixed
- Form fields no longer overlap on the Log page (the dose and time fields in the Medication and Meal forms).
- The glucose chart's legend is no longer cut off when it runs to a second line.
0.9.0-beta (2026-10-18)
Added
- Meter readings. Add fingerstick readings by hand, in mg/dL or mmol/L, with when you took them (before a meal, after a meal, fasting, bedtime) and an optional note. They show as diamonds on your glucose chart and are kept apart from your sensor readings.
- Fingerstick mode. If you check your glucose with a meter rather than a sensor, the Overview, the Glucose page, the weekly email, AI summaries and Endo Prep show meter figures: before-meal and after-meal readings in target, low readings, and averages by time of day. Sensor-only figures such as time in range and GMI are not shown for meter readings.
- Life events. Mark an illness, a hospital stay, a missed medication, travel, stress or unusual exercise, with its dates. Events show as shaded bands on your glucose chart, spans on the Overview timeline and badges in Day compare. AI summaries are told only the kind of event and its dates, never your note.
- Privacy & consent page. What you agreed to, which version, when and how, with the history; and downloading your data, closing your account and deleting it now, all in one place.
- Account menu. Your initial at the top right opens Settings, Privacy & consent and Sign out. On a phone, Sign out is the last item under More.
- Libre sync help. Step-by-step help for creating a LibreLinkUp follower account, and a warning when the follower account follows nobody.
Changed
- Terms 1.5-beta and privacy notice. They say that ForeSight is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Abbott, and that Libre sync uses a follower account you create, not your main LibreLink account. The privacy notice (now 1.7-beta) also lists meter readings and names the Privacy & consent page.
- Two separate agreements. Signing up asks separately for consent to collecting your health data and for acceptance of the terms. If you signed up before, you are asked once to accept the terms.
Security
- Safer server logs. ForeSight's logs no longer contain sign-in tokens, account identifiers or your name, and the logs of each part of the service are capped in size.
